This area offers quite a variety of climbing and it has one of the shortest approaches in the area. The quality of the stone ranges from perfect to conglomerate and the roof problems are some of the longest and most enduring in Northern Pa. With that being said there is still room for development out there. The difficulty ranges from V0-V9. Directions: From 414 take Leroy Mountain rd to Carbon Run rd, then turn left at the stop sign on to Foot of the plains rd. Option 2: From 414 take Mountain Rd to Foot of the plains rd. Either way Get to Foot of the Plains rd. Drive down just past the spring to a driveway heading up a small hill. From the Parking area hike up hill to the boulders. The boulders are visible from the parking fall to early spring.
